Obituary: Prof. Matthew JG Gage (1967-2022)
Our wonderful friend and a remarkable human being, Prof. Matthew JG Gage passed away on 15th January 2022, aged 55.
He was a phenomenal Scientist and produced fabulous research stories through brilliant experimental work using various study systems.
He was based at the University of East Anglia in Norwich (UK) and led a team of researchers and collaborated worldwide studying the evolutionary ecology and sexual selection (https://scholar.google.co.uk/citations?user=jZN3u4IAAAAJ&hl=en).
He has set a wonderful legacy that will hopefully continue to shine through across diverse fields like Salmon aquaculature to flour beetle population biology.
His loss is unthinkable and profound to everyone who knew him.
RIP, lots of love to you our lovely Boss.
